Olivia Aroha Giles, Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Raukawa, Te Āti Awa, Te Ātihaunui-a-Pāpārangi, Te Whānau-ā-Apanui, Ngāti Hinekawa
Olivia is a writer, artist and designer. As a child of the sixties, she grew up in Wainuiomata. Olivia writes children’s books, short stories and contemporary novels about feisty, independent women. She also paints, illustrates and works with textile, wood and paper. Her passions are reading, interior design and pottering about in her garden. Olivia and her husband, Scotty, live in Ōtaki, and between them they have seven children who are out in the world being amazing.
