We are calling for Expressions of Interest for two pivotal roles, each instrumental in fostering Māori storytelling and cultural advocacy. If you are a motivated professional who thrives in a high-trust environment, we want to hear from you!
Programme Coordinator
Are you passionate about supporting and promoting Māori writers? As the Programme Coordinator, you will work with Delivery Partners to ensure the success of both existing and new programmes. Your primary focus will be the coordination of the Poutama Programme, dedicated to identifying, developing and promoting Māori writers.
The role of the Programme Coordinator is to advance the vision of ‘taking Māori voices to the world’ by working with Delivery Partners to support the success of existing and new programmes. The primary focus of this role is to coordinate the successful delivery of the Poutama Programme, with its broad aims to identify, develop, publish and promote Māori writers. Key to the success of this role lies in the ability to maintain programme | project delivery according to agreed Programme Strategy key performance indicators. Role is for an independent contractor who ensures commitment according to role requirements and objectives. MLT works in high-trust environment, however, contractor must be available for weekly operations hui and quarterly board hui (as required).
Marketing Coordinator
Do you have a passion for storytelling through marketing and social media? The Marketing Coordinator role focuses on growing engagement, raising the profile of Māori writers, and amplifying the Trust’s reputation and purpose across all channels.
The role of the Marketing Coordinator is to advance the vision of ‘taking Māori voices to the world’ by using all available channels to grow reach and engagement, raise the profile of Māori writers and amplify the purpose and reputation of the Trust. Key to the success of this role lies in marketing and social media capability to maintain and grow MLT networks and audiences according to the Marketing Strategy key performance indicators. Role is for an independent contractor who ensures commitment according to role requirements and objectives. MLT works in high-trust environment, however, contractor must be available for weekly operations hui and quarterly board hui (as required).
