Nei rā te reo whakamiha o Aoraki mauka o Hikurangi mauka ki kā raukura kanorau o te māra a Tāne. I tito pakiwaitara tēnei hai whakamahi i kā kīwaha me kā wetereo i akona ki te kura reo kia kore ai e makere noa mai i te hirikapo!

I whiria kā kīwaha matua, kātahi ka whiria tētehi horopaki e hākai ana ki aua kīwaha. Ka aro ki te aroha o te tukāne ki tōhona tuahine i te mea he mata tērā o te aroha e kore e tino kōrerotia ki kā pukapuka.

Ināianei kai te mahi au hai kaiako ki Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Whānau Tahi ki O-Tautahi, kia poipoia kā pūmanawa o kā mokopuna ki te whakapuaki whakaaro aha rānei ki tō tātou reo rakinamu.

Mokori anō kia mihia te kaupapa o Pikihuia e poipoi ana i kā kaituhi Māori. Auē te wananei!
